Our Formats:

We have the following software and can utilize most major PC file formats:

• Microsoft Windows 2000 and Windows 98
• Microsoft Office 2000 and previous versions
• WordPerfect Office 9 and previous versions
• Pagemaker 7.0
• Adobe Illustrator 10.0
• Adobe Photoshop 7.0
• CoreDraw Suite 11.0
• WinZip for PC
• Many Macintosh files created for cross-platform exchange using standard file formats: .tiff, .eps, .jpeg, plaintext, and .rtf.

For other software packages please inquire. Space does not permit listing of every format we can handle, and sometimes formats change through versions, even though the extension remains the same. We accept electronic files, 3.5" floppies, PC Zipdisks (to 250 MB capacity) and CDs closed for universal reading. In general, vector formats are superior to bitmap formats for graphics; .tif or .bmp superior to .jpg for photos. WinZipped files are encouraged.

We also gladly accept neatly typed paper copy, scannable copies, or any combination of the above. For example, one client ships camera ready paper copies, and we furnish editing and proofing markup via return email.

PLEASE DO NOT SEND ORIGINALS (with the possible exception of line drawings or photographs). We will be careful with all materials submitted, but cannot be responsible for their safety against loss in the mails, or unexpected digital crash. All materials whose return you expect should be submitted with sufficient SASE or IRCs for their return journey, and be clearly marked for return, or you will be charged actual shipping plus $5 handling.
